With mine, basically I just want proper brakes and to avoid the death ring milspec rims. I like the higher height the trailer sits stock at due to a wicked steep driveway.

This is a public service announcement for anyone with limited experience planning to attempt this job on your own van. Please reply if you have clarifications to offer. Basic point: before doing this job, check the drivers side rear wheelwell to make sure you can see the shock stud over the frame rail and that it is not obscured by any hoses. None of the videos on youtube really convey the potential difficulty of removing the top nut from the old shocks. The problem is extremely limited access. It’s enough access to get the new shock on and tightened, but chances are the old shocks aren’t going to come off like butter and so the access becomes inadequate in that case. There is potential for the nut to seize or strip. If it doesn’t seize or strip, then you’re good with the videos on youtube, but if it does, then you have no options (that I know of) other than going through the wheelwell with a sawsall with a 12” metal blade (which is dangerous because the gas tank is about 2 inches away) and carefully cutting the top stud off through the bushing area, or just brute force break the stud off the shock by wrestling with the bottom part (which is not guaranteed to work). Access through the wheelwell is crucial, and in my case with a 1998 E150 conversion (check your van for this too!), your access to the top shock nut through the wheel well on the drivers side will be blocked by three lines: The gas tank atmospheric return line, and the two coolant lines to the rear climate unit. You will need these out of the way for access and also because you wouldn’t want to accidentally cut them. The gas vent line is pretty easy to disconnect and pull out of the way, but there is no way to reroute the coolant lines without disconnecting them, and you can’t disconnect them without draining the coolant. In my case I just took the opportunity to delete the entire rear unit.

Does the red light stay on all the time
Air bags are the best option. These arent bad if you need shocks but the air bags are adjustable and wont sag. Mine are 7 years old and carry tools all the time and supplies sometimes without any problems. Great investment.

So you were able to somehow access the top bolts without removing the rear tires??
Hey there thanks for watching!! It is not easy to do but with a 12 Inch Bi-Metal Reciprocating Blade it can be done, then with a set of Extra Long Ratcheting Wrench you can put it all back together.
Same thing suddenly happens to mine. Bought it 20.03.2022, so warranty is expired. What a bummer, @insta360

You can buy the correct printed circuit for the cluster.
I put a GM tachometer in a 80 k5 blazer 20 years ago still works perfectly.

On the add a fuse I know it’s a 20 amp fuse for the gauges but what was the amp fuse for the tachometer you put in?

Its been about 5 years since youve installed these. How have they been so far? Did they remain firm the entire life or the opposite. One guy said they squeaked after a few months, did that happen with yours?
How does it ride? Is it super stiff?
Throw some long tube headers on it it'll perform a lot better
Just did my 1992e250 front and rear the old fashioned way. Took the nuts off. Not so bad , did all in 1 day

I bought this as my first propane grill. It's been a fun, learning experience ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxCx5fHawkK9OoV-ojFrY8JLnZrFwAmvUt . I think it's a bit too pricey after looking at other grills, but it wasn't hard to put together and it works really well. I love the side burner option for heating food during a power outage. I have an electric stove and live in the South (Hurricane season), so this was a bonus. I also bought a cover for it and it has protected it nicely (the Char Broil All-Season Grill Cover 3-4 Burner: Large). Every few grill sessions, I take the rack (or grate) and burner covers off and clean them with a non-abrasive scrubby and mild soap. I wipe the excess off of the bottom as well, taking care to avoid the gas and pilot lines.

I did this just over a week ago...today while driving tac died and let the factory smoke out...any ideas...was fused
Sorry, but I’m not sure. The only thing I can think of is that it could have been a bad unit. Also, check the voltage on all of the wires going to the tac.

Original Fords shocks were either blue or black, that one looks like a Monroe.
Hi, I fixed my battery like this. You connect the camera to your pc without the battery, you hold the power button pressed, without removing your finger from the power button you connect the battery. Normally you should see the red led stay lit.

Hi. Was wondering if you used the factory sleeve in position 5? Thats the 2nd bolted mount from the rear. Ive read two different instructions and say different things. One says just the factory washer.
